- Brief Introduction
Huazhen Lin is a fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and she is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Statistics, and also the director at the Center of Statistical Research, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. She received her Ph.D. degree from Sichuan University in China in 1999, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biostatistics, University of Washington in the United States. She has published many research papers in the Annals of Statistics, Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society: Series B (Statistical Methodology), Biometrika, Biometrcs and so on, all of which are internationally outstanding statistics and econometrics journals. She has organized six NSFC programs.
Professor Huazhen Lin is a committee member of the international IMS-China, IBS-China and ICSA-China Chapter Conferences, the director of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Chapter of China Institute of field statistics, the associate chair of the 9th National Industrial Statistics Teaching and Research Committee, the Associate Director of the Environment and Resources, High Dimensional Data Analysis, Biomedical Statistics and Survival Analysis Chapters of China Institute of field statistics. She is an associate editor of Biometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Scandinavian Journal of Statistics, Canadian Journal of Statistics, Statistics and Its Interface and Statistical Theory and Related Fields. She is also a member of the Editorial Board in the Acta Mathematica Sinica (English Series), Chinese Journal of applied probability and statistics, Journal of Systems Science and Mathematical Sciences and Journal of Applied Statistics and Management, key academic research journals in China.
Research Interests:Nonparametric method, Survival data analysis, Functional data analysis, Space-time data analysis, Transformation model, Latent variable analysis, ROC method , Capture and recapture data analysis.
